"I think this hotel is having some management problems. I checked in OK, but when I went to my room around 3:00PM it was still dirty. I was told it would be cleaned immediately. I waited an hour and then went back to front deak. He was unaware that the room had not been cleaned. They had not called him nor had anyone even gone to me room. He began yelling in a radio in a loud irritated voice and started telling people someone better get to my room. It embarrassed me a little. The room finally got cleaned after I left for a few hours.
It appears to me they have cut back on staff and they have temporary people doing the service and the whole experience was just unprofessional.
For example, as I was looking for personal items on floor, I noticed behind the bed, food stuff that had not been cleaned in days. It was pretty gross looking. Sure enough, the next morning when I went into the bathroom to take a shower, there were 3 crawling bugs in the bathtub. I washed them down, but I can tell you it is a good thing that my wife was not around or she would have screamed.
I would NOT recommend this hotel to anyone.........UNTIL they get their act together. Other than that, it has a fine location right on the beach and could be a great stay."

"The hotel was clean enough and had the bare necessities. Breakfast was minimal -- toast and cereal and bananas. The decor was almost nonexistent. I had lots of trouble getting my computer online and had almost NO help from the front desk. The first morning there, I did not receive my wakeup call."

"First, online, the hotel looks great. Rooms with a view... actually meant, that you go out on the balcony and lean over and look to the left and then you see the view.
The manager of the hotel was not very helpful. He does not have enough employee's. They are understaffed and the rooms are not serviced well. When we arrived, my friend and I had rooms that were not very clean. My friend's room had beer bottles and cigarette butts on the balcony and a dirty washcloth in the tub. My room was not quite that bad. When they cleaned our rooms, they did not put coffee cups or water cups in the room. We were not aware that we had to use the same cups all week. We were told to go down to the front desk if we wanted more. Also, when we checked in, we needed a cart to bring all of our things up to our room. There was only ONE that we could find the whole time we were there. All of the hotel guests were to share that one I guess. The parking garage was dirty and trash was piled up by the elevator. For a fairly new hotel, it was dirty. We were very surprised andvery disappointed in the hotel. We had booked through Expedia.com and therefore would not be refunded our money if we left the hotel. Otherwise, we would have been out of there quickly."
